Riverside Residence - Architecture + Construction
STOA created this residence for a growing family in the city of Charlottesville. It is situated on a small lot in the historically industrial Woolen Mills neighborhood. An open floor plan and large windows promote the passage of natural light. Carefully situated decks and outdoor spaces encourage connections with passing neighbors and a more intimate roof deck raises the occupants above the neighborhood and its riparian setting, framing views of nearby Monticello.
