Situated along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this mountaintop home had endured extreme exposure to the elements and required extensive enhancements to its structure and envelope. In addition to this critical work, STOA extended the glazing to provide views to the mountains and valley below and constructed an expansive ipe-clad deck with a simple stainless steel railing system, connecting occupants to the beautiful surroundings.
